Brownswood Recordings are excited to drop Ntokzin’s remix of Bokani Dyer’s sensational track ‘Ke Nako’ from Radio Sechaba. Ntokzin is one of the producers and DJs spearheading the rise of Amapiano in South Africa; his album Ace of Spades with DeMthuda won album of the year at the first Amapiano Awards. This remix of ‘Ke Nako’ reimagines the track in typical Amapiano fashion. The original’s soulful chords and soaring vocals are taken to new heights by a bedrock of propulsive percussion and thick, wriggly bass lines. Ntokzin shifts these elements around, letting them rise and fall; tension and release. A well-crafted sunshine banger, perfect for a summer dancefloor.
